This notice is prepared by YYK Makina (the “Company”) as the data controller to inform you about the processing of your personal data under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).
1. Personal data we process
- Identity and contact: name, surname, company name, phone number, email address
- Request details: messages, project details and CVs you share through our contact, quote and job application forms
- Transaction security: IP address, browser information, form submission time
- Cookie data: usage information collected by analytics cookies, with your consent
2. Purposes
Your personal data is processed to respond to your requests, prepare quotes, carry out contract processes, evaluate job applications, ensure information security and fulfil legal obligations.
3. Legal grounds and collection method
Your data is collected electronically through the forms on our website, email and phone. It is processed on the legal grounds in Article 5 of KVKK, namely the establishment or performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation and legitimate interest, and, where required, your explicit consent.
4. Transfers
Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be transferred to authorised public bodies where legally required and to our hosting, email and IT service providers.
5. Retention
Your data is kept for as long as the processing purpose requires and for the periods set out in the applicable legislation, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, request correction or deletion, know the third parties to whom it is transferred and claim compensation for damages. You can send your requests to the email address on our contact page.
